Deposit : Due to the high volume of enquiries, a deposit is required to secure your booking time. This fee is redeemable against your final balance. Your booking fee must be paid within 24hrs from the received booking request, otherwise the date and time will still be available for others to book. Please send a screenshot of the transaction when complete so that we may confirm and finalise your booking. Please note this fee is strictly non-refundable and non-transferable (unable to transfer over to another appointment.)
Bridal trial : Bridal trial's are optional but highly recommended. They gives us the opportunity to connect and create, your dream bridal look unique to you. Discuss customised recommendations and all the finer details for your special day, which is the perfect way to ensure a seamless and stress-free wedding morning.
We recommend booking at least one bridal trial in as early as possible, as availability is limited. If you're unsure of when to schedule your trial, we suggest selecting a date approximately three to two months before your wedding. Please note that all trials require a separate booking fee to secure your desired date and time. Our standard terms and conditions apply.
Payment : Your remaining balance is due in full no earlier than 3 weeks and no later than 1 week before your wedding date. Payment should be made via direct deposit unless otherwise arranged. Please refer to the payment instructions sent to you via email to ensure the correct details are included with your transfer. Additionally, please email a confirmation of your payment to Mali Skye Hair and Makeup Artistry for finalisation.
Travel and Parking : Complimentary travel is offered for parties of 4 or more within a 50km radius. If parking fees apply, the client will be responsible for covering the charges during the time our services are provided. This includes costs such as hotel parking or meter parking.
Timing : Mali Skye Hair and Makeup Artistry will confirm the time of arrival and any necessary preparation details at least 1 week prior to your booking. Adhering to the scheduled time is essential to ensure we maintain our standard of quality and efficiency. Should any unforeseen circumstances arise, it is the client’s responsibility to notify us as soon as possible. Please note, Mali Skye Hair and Makeup Artistry is not responsible if your desired completion time is not met due to any delays caused by the client, group, or wedding party.
Personal information and safety : To provide the best service for you, we request information such as your name, address, and contact details. Rest assured, this information will remain confidential and will not be shared with anyone outside of Mali Skye Hair and Makeup Artistry.
It is the client's responsibility to inform us of any known allergies. Mali Skye Hair and Makeup Artistry is not liable for any allergic reactions or incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to issues related to sensitive skin or eyes.
Changes to your booking : Increasing the numbers in your booking will automatically apply the agreed terms and conditions to the additional guests. If the booking grows to a number which requires a larger team of our stylists an additional deposit fee may be required.
In the unlikely event your artist is no longer able to attend your booking, we will make every effort to provide a replacement. The limit of liability is a full refund of all monies paid for the effected date only.
Mali Skye hair and makeup artistry, reserves the right to terminate the booking if the client exhibits behaviour, actions or interactions that cause distress to the artist.
For large bookings (eg. Bridal parties), we have set aside the additional time and artists required to accommodate you. Therefore, significant changes to the services required (eg. a reduction in client numbers) within the specified timeframe may result in full payment of the original quote to be paid. This is because we have reserved the time, administration and artists specifically for your original booking details and turned away our other amazing clients/brides to be. Our admin and artistry team will still need to be covered for the time and effort spent organising and communicating prior the event as well as the time reserved. So please keep this in mind. We will always do our best to accommodate your needs and we appreciate you understanding ours.
You may reduce the size of your bridal/event booking size if we are notified at least 3 months before the booked date. This is subject to the size and amount of artists required for your original booking details. Less than 3 months notification from the booked date will require up to 75% of cancellation payment based on the original booking details (Percentage fee per cancellation).
It is your responsibility to update us with any changes to your schedule or requirements. For example, if you initially scheduled to be ready by 2pm but now need to be ready by 12pm instead, please notify us as soon as possible. Failure to provide timely updates may result in us not being able to amend our time of arrival, or we may need to increase our team, which could incur additional costs.
We will contact you closer to the date, within the meantime you are responsible for contacting us with any updates or questions.
Please confirm the numbers and services required carefully at the time of booking. You can be charged a percentage the full agreed amount regardless of any cancellations or changes in availability within your wedding group.
Cancellation and refund policy : If the booking is cancelled within 14 days of the event we reserve the right to invoice and request full payment to be payable within 14 days from the cancellation notification.
Mali Skye Hair and Makeup Artistry does not offer refunds for any post completed services; therefore if you are in any way dissatisfied, the onus is on the client to notify the stylist whilst they are on location.
Over due invoices will incur a 5% late fee per day until the invoice is paid.
By paying the booking fee, you agree to be bound by the terms, conditions, and policies outlined here, as well as any updates made from time to time. It is the responsibility of the client paying the booking fee to monitor changes to our terms, conditions and policies, understand the terms, and ensure compliance with these conditions, including making all relevant payments.
